What is happening for this Term???
Our school wide concept is- RELATIONSHIPS
Our Big Picture will be- 'A Better Me/ Growing Myself'
with the Big Question- 'How can we be better than before?'
Our Writing Focus will be- Personal Recounts/ Picture Plans/ Cameo Writing/ Recrafting/ Publishing and a particular focus on Transactional Writing: Explanation- Life Cycle of Butterfly.
Our mathematics programme will be- Assessment (2 weeks)--> Measurement-Capacity (2 weeks)--> Geometry- Symmetry (2 weeks)--> Numeracy (4 weeks) ---> Statistics (1 week)
SPECIAL EVENTS:
-'Kids Rich in Character Launch'- Tuesday 9th February (week 2)
-Meet the Teacher Evening- Monday 16th February (week 3)
-Miss Fisher attending 'Learning @ Schools Conference in Rotorua- 23rd- 26th February
-Food Festival- Saturday 20th March 11am- 2pm
-Last Day of Term- Thursday 1st April
-Easter Weekend.
