Welcome to Book Week at Royal Oak Primary School!
We have got lots of great things happening this week to celebrate our annual 'Book Week'. This morning we have all enjoyed a great visit from author Tim Tipene who talked to us all about 'taming our taniwha' (photo attached). We will also have teachers reading to a range of different classes over book week. Then of course we have our great Book Parade on Friday!! Don't forget to dress up as your favourite book character!! Room 10 are already chatting excitedly about what they might wear!!
I can't wait to see my class full of book characters!!
i really like the bit when Tim Tepene teach us be nice to a bully then that taniwha would stop annoying you at school or at home!
